CityTeam Oakland — Women’s Turning Point
Office volunteers help keep the Women’s Turning Point Program running. If you’d like to be a source of hope and support for women rebuilding their lives, CityTeam would love to have you.

Daisy’s Playroom
A program of Contra Costa Foster Friends, offering foster children a safe place to play while caregivers take a much-needed break. Volunteers share games, crafts, reading, and imaginative play. Experience preferred, not required.

Harbor House
Help build a brand-new playground on August 22 & 23. If you enjoy working with tools, pouring cement, and watching a project come to life, this one’s for you. A general contractor provides supervision and direction throughout.

One morning, hundreds of neighbors, real needs met across the East Bay. Choose a site below, then register. Many sites are kid and family friendly.
Education & access
Help Title 1 schools get ready for students and teachers’ first day back.
Food insecurity
Hands-on gardening, food sorting, and distribution.
Housing & homelessness
Gardening, cleaning & organizing, donation sorting, meal distribution.
Also collecting classroom supplies through Summer for Schools.
